Biography
From Montreal, Quebec, Terror Symphony is a bilingual metalcore band rapidly emerging as a compelling force within the Quebec metal scene. Formed in early 2023 by engineering students, the band blends metalcore with influences from melodic death metal and nu-metal, crafting an original and dynamic sound. Their music is written and performed in both English and French, reflecting their cultural roots and adding depth and versatility to their identity.
Inspired by bands such as Gojira, Avenged Sevenfold, I Prevail and System of a Down, Terror Symphony has been described as a “band to watch closely” by Metal Shed Productions. Since their debut, the band has built a strong reputation for their immersive live performances, hard-hitting riffs, and distinctive dual-vocal approach.
After first performing at university events, Terror Symphony quickly progressed to larger stages, including their professional debut at Sonum Fest in Quebec City. Later in 2024, they shared the stage with acts such as Fall From Everest (Czech Republic), Moldead, Dynasty and Chaotic Symbios, performing across multiple cities in Quebec.
The band’s growing discography highlights both their versatility and artistic evolution. Deception (May 2024) is a fast-paced track exploring themes of resilience and loss. Épopée (August 2024) is a six-minute epic that blends metalcore with medieval and folk-inspired elements, telling a story of knightly perseverance in a frozen, hostile world. Their latest single, Don’t Look At Me (January 2025), showcases the band’s progression with raw energy, memorable guitar work, and refined production.
Their debut EP, Unstable Divinity (April 2026), marks a defining step in the band's evolution: six tracks and two interludes that reimagine their earlier singles alongside three all-new compositions (Retaliation, Fractured, and SEVERED), blending aggression, melody, and cinematic storytelling into their most ambitious release to date.
Their upcoming single, Face of the Prey (October 2026), will be accompanied by the band's first-ever music video, a major step forward in their visual identity as they continue pushing their sound and stage presence.
Led by Renaud Dubé’s commanding growls and Roxanne Forget’s expressive melodic harmonies, Terror Symphony’s bilingual and dual-vocal dynamic brings a unique richness to their sound. Guitarists Damien Sudre and Maxim Sabourin deliver a seamless mix of technical riffs and melodic solos, while bassist Soleil Anker-Baril and drummer Alexandre Bellemin-Magninot provide a powerful and solid rhythmic foundation.

" Great start with those gutturals and guitar riffs. The voice is brutal both in screaming and growling. And it's amazing to hear a clean voice, because it gives a great touch to the song. In order not to remain only in the ectre. The drums mark the path the listener should follow, as well as the rhythm of the entire track, providing great support along with the bass. Speed makes the rhythm not indifferent. Also, these changes in tempo give you time to recover and take a breath to continue. The blast beats are powerful and give strength to the song. A great job that they present with this first track. Congratulations "

" A great mix of death and black metal with a bit of thrash thrown in for good measure this is a great blend of styles that really work well together. The heavy riffs and complimented by rumbling drums and meaty basslines. The contrast in vocal styles, from the clean female vocals to the growling male contrast well but this is not a beauty and the beast style track. The female vocals are just as strong and powerful as the male, a great match up. The death metal aspects of this track are what stand out the most to me but overall this is a great track, and one that is on the playlist for my radio show on Hard Rock Hell Radio. "
